In my artistic practice, I reflect on the political climate of our time, questioning the structures of power, identity, and human existence. My work engages with the destruction of historical and social values, the strategies of geopolitical power, and the pressing social challenges of our society. Concepts such as fragility, isolation, and displacement are central to my work, as I critically examine the values of the era we live in.
Using humor and irony, I merge contemporary political and societal fallacies on small notes and drawings, while my poetic approach visualizes the unbearable weight of human existence and the fragile aspects of the wild human being. Movement, body, and sound play an essential role in my artistic practice, lending my work a visual intensity shaped by technical diversity and interdisciplinary dialogue.
My art bridges visual, performing, and media arts and manifests itself in collaborations with dancers, musicians, and visual artists. I work with materials such as human hair, smoke, sugar, wax, latex, textiles, and neon light, while incorporating traditional craft techniques such as lace-making, crocheting, weaving, embroidery, dyeing, ceramics, and porcelain painting. My artistic expression spans film, photography, drawing, installation, and performance—mediums that allow me to challenge societal narratives and offer new perspectives on the complexities of human existence.
